The Manager / of Information Technology (IT) Director is a key to our leadership team, managing a team of IT professionals to serve both internal and external clients. The IT Department strives to deliver creative and efficient tools and innovative solutions for our employees. This position works closely with our COO and has Board exposure. Success, in part, will be measured by the candidate's ability to work strategically as well as tactically and serve as a player-coach, willing to roll up your sleeves when necessary.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Serves as the company’s leader and coordinator for information technology needs and solutions, ensuring operational integrity and continuity of services by providing steady and dependable leadership.
- Develops the information technology vision and strategy in coordination with the goals and objectives of the company. Ensures adherence to sound technology practices and procedures.
- Directs research and make recommendations related to technology initiatives. Advises on the functionality, costs, benefits, and implementation risk and schedules of technology enhancements.
- With a service-oriented paradigm, develops and maintains strong, supportive relationships with other leaders in the organization.
- Provides strategic and technical security mitigation planning and leads the design, development and maintenance of cyber security. Maintain up to date industry knowledge on cyber security threats, tools, trends, and regulatory compliance. Leads business continuity, security commitment, audit, and disaster recovery processes.
- Implements best practices, efficiency improvements, and cost savings for the organization through cutting-edge technology.
- Coordinates technology purchases and rotations for all departments and develops the annual departmental budget and monitors expenditure throughout the year.
- Supervises the employees of the IT department
- Prepares reports and makes presentations as needed.
- Oversees the provision of technical assistance to a variety of hardware, software, and systems.
The successful candidate will bring to the company advanced skills and competencies including but not limited to service excellence internally and externally, strategic and critical thinking skills to identify and evaluate emerging opportunities for client needs as well as threats, and developing and maintaining client service models, tracking associated KPIs and focusing on continuous improvement. Our successful candidate will also bring advanced knowledge and demonstrate experience in Microsoft Office Suite, systems integration and cloud infrastructure.
Decision making is a key component of the job; thus, our successful candidate will be comfortable balancing experience, corporate culture and risk management to make decisions of considerable weight. Must also flexibility and adaptability, comfortable working and making decisions in a dynamic atmosphere where factors as well as relevance of factors can change based upon client needs. Additionally, communication skills are important, including the ability to reach, share and defend decisions with a wide range of colleagues and clients.
Salary : $120,000 - $170,000
