A Global and Leading Investment Management Firm is looking for a Fund Accounting Manager to join their team in DTLA!

Our client is looking for a highly skilled Fund Accounting Manager coming from the Big Four to oversee the financial operations for a variety of private partnerships and client accounts. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of investment vehicles while collaborating closely with clients and portfolio teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the preparation and maintenance of books and records for pooled private investment funds and separate accounts.
- Prepare and/or review complex management fee and waterfall calculations.
- Record and reconcile cash, investments, and balance sheet accounts.
- Handle the recording of purchase and sale transactions, as well as accounting for complex corporate actions.
- Estimate and post accruals as necessary.
- Review and update income and expense allocations to each partner, including distribution waterfalls based on governing documents.
- Prepare and manage distributions and drawdowns.
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze and calculate performance metrics for partnerships and individual investments.
- Coordinate with independent auditors, custodians, prime brokers, and fund administrators.
- Perform additional tasks as required by the business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting or audit experience, specifically within public accounting (Big Four) working with financial services clients; or a combination of public accounting and investment management experience.
- Strong knowledge of reconciliation, account analysis, and investment company accounting rules.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Solid analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex financial issues.

Salary : $110,000 - $140,000
