We are currently seeking an experienced IT Architect, Oracle for a confidential company in Atlanta, GA.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for aligning technology and business objectives to develop enterprise-level solutions. This role requires expertise in defining best practices and guidelines for the development, selection, and implementation of enterprise information systems. The individual must possess a comprehensive understanding of software, hardware, applications, networking, and business process engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as an expert in IT domains related to Oracle ERP applications, integration technologies, and data.
- Assist with project estimation efforts and ensure functional alignment during application implementation and deployment.
- Maintain optimal system performance, manage escalations, and guide teams and vendors to resolution.
- Advise project teams on integration and architecture practices and lead architectural upgrades or changes.
- Optimize IT systems to align with business needs and technological capabilities.
- Partner with vendors to develop tailored solutions and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Provide governance and maintain policies, processes, and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 5-7 years of experience as a Solution Architect, including architecture design, deployment, and lifecycle management.
- Proven expertise in Oracle eBS R12.2.12, Oracle database, middleware products, and frameworks like FMW, BPEL, OAF, and ADF.
- Strong experience with modules including Order Management/Supply Chain, Projects, Finance, Service & Field Service.
- Demonstrated success in integrating complex business processes and systems.
- Experience implementing and integrating cloud-based technologies.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Cloud and MuleSoft is preferred.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Waterfall or Agile) and certifications are a plus.
Preferred Skills
- API management tools experience.
- Working knowledge of internal controls and compliance standards.
- Ability to analyze complex problems, identify requirements, and propose solutions.
- Experience working with outsourced service providers.
This position requires occasional travel and a collaborative mindset.
