Role: Senior/Staff Software Engineer
Location: West Coast (PST) Remote US
Compensation: $150-190k base DOE equity options
We're serial founders who recently secured an industry-leading Series B funding round with our FDA-cleared computer vision solutions. As a Senior/Staff Fullstack Engineer on our team, you will work on both internal and customer-facing software products. You should have extensive recent experience with API design, architecture, and system design (in the last 6-12 months.)
\n- Design and develop scalable and maintainable web applications using modern software engineering principles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Lead technical discussions with stakeholders and provide guidance to junior developers
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks in web applications and implement solutions to improve scalability
- Architect and design complex systems
- 8 years of experience in software engineering
- Extensive experience with JavaScript (We are a Typescript environment)
- Node/Express/Serverless experience
- Golang experience or knowledge a strong plus
- SQS or Kafka experience
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns (API design, architecture & system design are vital parts of the job)
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile development environment
