StartX, a non-profit accelerator supporting Stanford founders, is seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Partner Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in building and nurturing relationships with a curated community of corporate partners who provide invaluable resources to our founders.
What You'll Do
- Drive Revenue Growth: Identify, cultivate, and secure new corporate partnerships, contributing directly to StartX's revenue goals. This is a revenue-generating role and you must be driven to want to do that.
- Manage Partner Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of partners, ensuring their satisfaction and maximizing engagement with StartX programs.
- Develop and Execute Partner Strategies: Collaborate with the team to create and implement account plans that deliver exceptional value to both partners and StartX founders.
- Champion Partner Success: Oversee the onboarding process, track key performance indicators, and proactively address partner needs to foster long-term relationships and drive renewals.
- Enhance the Partner Program: Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of our partner program, including playbooks, engagement models, and resource delivery.
- Foster a Collaborative Environment: Be an active and engaged member of a high-performing, mission-driven team that values transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Proven Experience: 2 years of experience in partnership management, sales, customer success, or account management, with a demonstrated track record of building strong relationships and driving customer satisfaction.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Relationship-Building Expertise: A natural connector with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate trust and rapport with partners.
- Results-Oriented Approach: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a bias for action.
- Tech Savviness: Proficiency with CRM systems and a strong aptitude for learning new technologies.
- Familiarity with startup ecosystems and the founder journey.
