Job Description
As a Design/Sales Consultant, we are looking for one to have comprehensive knowledge ranging from furniture make-up to design trends. As this job can be in a fast paced environment, an individual has to have excellent organization skills and be able to work with multiple customers at once. It is also important that you have great interpersonal skills along with great verbal and written communication. One of your main duties will be helping customers design their homes, thus, you will be required to connect and establish relationships with a diverse group of customers. If you are a well-rounded individual that is looking to grow your designing expertise, sales, and interpersonal skills, then this is the job you have been looking for! Specific qualifications for the role include:
- Ability to work a retail schedule including weekends
- ASID Certification preferred but not required
- Organized and the ability to multitask
- Engaging and friendly personality
- Ability to work individually and with a team

- Ability to effectively communicate and be a team player
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer proficiency
Your responsibilities:
- Greet and provide exceptional customer service from when orders are placed to when they are received.
- Connect with customers on a professional and personal level in order to build meaningful and long lasting relationships
- Ability to understand customer’s styles and bring their dream homes to life
- Will need to learn and increase your knowledge in our products and suppliers
- Ability to follow-up on leads and make appointments accordingly
- Educate customers on the differences between products
- Be a team player by sharing knowledge/expertise on both products and sales tactics with your coworkers
- Providing high quality customer service through maintaining store design and cleanliness.

Pay: $18.00 - $27 per hour depending on experience
