Job Title : Critical Facilities Technicians

Stash Talent Solutions is in search of multiple Critical Facilities Technicians across various locations. We have both day and night shift opportunities available (candidates must be open to all shifts). Pay starts at $40 / hr (negotiable) and goes up based on a number of factors including experience, education, expertise, performance, etc. Night shift receives a $3 / hr differential pay.
Shift :
CFTs typically work a 12 hour shift on either the front half or back half of the week
For example; Front half days would be - Sunday, Monday Tuesday and every other Wednesday 6am-6pm. You work 3 twelve hour shifts one week and 4 twelve hour shifts the next week...84 hours total for the pay period or 42 hours / week but you’ll get paid 8 hours of overtime. Conversely, back half nights would be Every other Wednesday, and Thursday Friday Saturday 6p-6a.
SUMMARY :
Reporting to the Facility Manager, this role involves hands-on analysis, maintenance, and troubleshooting of facility operations. Responsibilities include installing, repairing, and maintaining both critical and non-critical mechanical and / or electrical machinery and controls located within the building.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to) :
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
- Manage mechanical tasks such as HVAC system operation and maintenance, plumbing installation and upkeep, generator operations, fire detection and suppression, life safety protocols, and digital systems management (including fire alarm, duress, card access, CCTV).
- Oversee electrical operations, maintenance, and energy management programs, ensuring compliance with change control procedures.
- Schedule, develop, and ensure quality assurance for all preventive, contracted, and general maintenance tasks.
- Execute all work in accordance with governing procedures and maintenance instructions.
- Operate and monitor critical and non-critical system equipment, overseeing third-party contractors as necessary.
- Receive and execute work orders for preventive and corrective maintenance, consulting with management to order necessary materials and finalize documentation.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and customer concerns, and monitor building operations during scheduled shifts.
- Evaluate, assign, and monitor the safe work responsibilities and safety procedures of employees and contractors.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation by developing and communicating improved processes for.
