Assistant General Manager Responsibilities:
The Assistant General Manager assists in all daily operations, with primary responsibility for order fulfillment, inventory management, cash management, and daily reporting.
- Perform store opening and closing responsibilities.
- Conduct weekly inventory counts and reconciliations.
- Manage daily cash reconciliation.
- Fulfill orders and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Communicate with the general manager and staff regarding inventory availability and discrepancies.
- Maintain quality assurance protocols and regulatory compliance.
- Process receiving, approval, or rejection of cannabis-related products within regulatory standards.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Job Requirements:
- 1-2 years of management experience in the retail industry.
- Experience with POS systems.
- Inventory and cash management expertise.
- Excellent customer communication and service skills.
- Strong interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Able to accommodate scheduling expectations, including weekends, holidays, and evening hours.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Able to pass a background check.
- Works well in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cannabis market and product knowledge.
- Able to fill in for the general manager and other staff as needed.
- Compliance with state regulatory matters.
