Delivery people are responsible for assisting provisioning centers with local deliveries and/or delivering locally on own. Schedules and routes deliveries, creates delivery manifests, updates customers on delivery statuses, and ensures safety and compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Picking up and delivering at set locations daily
Calling and preparing run
Creating manifests for delivery
Preparing / fulfilling delivery orders
Checking patients/customers information to ensure eligibility
Keeping customers informed of delivery status
Proficient with computer skills and data entry
Ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple service needs simultaneously
Staying up to date on new products, strains, changes in laws, and industry trends in order to provide the highest level of service to customers
Weighing and packaging products if needed
Providing recommendations on cannabis products based on customer desired experience
Work successfully and efficiently under a fast-paced environment
Ability to adhere to the highest customer service standards at all times
Welcoming each guest personally using enthusiastic words, tone, and body language
Verifying proper paperwork, documentation, and ID for guests
Working as a team to maintain an effective atmosphere and efficient service
Cleaning, stocking, and organizing dispensary; working with others to keep all areas cleaned and stocked in accordance with the Company’s standards at all times
Inputting orders in a timely and accurate manner, collecting money from guests for products purchased, and making appropriate change
Quickly and precisely handling cash and debit transactions while always maintaining a balanced cash drawer
Conducting nightly inventory counts of all dispensary products
Maintaining up to date knowledge of industry trends and products offered
Available to work varied hours/days, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Maintaining good a driving record.
Knowledge of cannabis preferred
One year of retail or other applicable customer service experience required; cannabis industry experience preferred
Some distribution supply experience preferred.
Excellent Communication Skills and Customer Service Oriented.
Customer Focus, Dependability, Teamwork, Coordination, Organization, Time Management, Reporting Skills, Inventory Control, Documentation Skills, Equipment Maintenance
Some computer skills preferred. Data Entry Skills a plus
Be able to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
Ability to prioritize and organize workflow on a daily basis to accomplish required tasks.
