General Manager Responsibilities
The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring the dispensary's compliance with security, inventory, and local/state regulations. They will also manage and inspire internal staff to deliver exceptional customer service, ensure customer and employee safety, and provide education and development opportunities for staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Manage and motivate staff to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Lead sales, service, and profit goal setting and achievement.
- Collaborate with Inventory Specialist and Procurement Manager to procure quality products.
- Fulfill staffing needs and coordinate scheduling.
- Communicate and coach staff on regular basis to ensure excellence in service and labor practices.
- Analyze and interpret documents related to dispensary performance and industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
- Five years of experience in retail management environment.
- Excellent customer communication and service skills.
- Strong interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Passionate about serving the Michigan cannabis community.
- Strong accounting, math, and computer skills.
- Able to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekends, holidays, and evening hours.
