Overview:
The position of Project Technician is responsible for, but not limited to, staging, prepping and installing workstations and end user peripherals such as printers, scanners, docking stations, UPS’s and other end user hardware as part of a managed project. This position is also responsible for troubleshooting user related issues and workstation operating systems. It will be a daily responsibility to manage the needs of the project and ensure robust communication with the client and our technical support teams to the best of your ability. Other physical installations such as installing switches and access points with support from senior engineers will also be required.
Principle Responsibilities:
- Workstation Installation Onsite
- General Project Physical installation
- Client System Support post project before hand-off to support desk
- Network Troubleshooting as part of a project deployment
- Communicate with client and team throughout deployments
- Properly track time against the project daily
- Line of Business Application Support
- Use of RMM (Remote Monitoring & Management) tools for any remote project efforts
- Responsible for entering time into the PSA (Professional Services Automation Tool) daily
- Be able to work tickets on the desk when needed
Principle Requirements:
- Experience configuring, deploying and migrating workstations, printers, scanners and other peripherals.
- Experience configuring, deploying and migrating other technologies common in corporate IT.
- ·Experience in dealing with multiple customers’ needs throughout the day
- Extremely professional demeanor
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent Documentation skills.
- MacOS experience is a plus
- Medical IT experience is a plus
- Law Firm IT experience is a plus

Essential Physical Requirements:
- Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds

- Must have the ability to process information and merchandise through computer systems
- Must have the ability to effectively and courteously communicate with employees and customers
- Must have the ability to read, count and write English to accurately complete all documentation
- Must have the ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to the position
- Must have the ability to climb ladders
- Must have the ability to work varied hours/days to oversee operations
