Courier with Large SUV or Van Needed - Monday - Friday

A reputable logistics company is seeking reliable and motivated Independent Couriers to join our dynamic delivery network. As an independent courier, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of items to various locations. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to be your own boss while earning competitive pay.

The position will deliver library books Monday through Friday from around 7:00AM to 12:00 PM daily. The driver can expect to coverage about 15 miles a day. The carrier will also be responsible to sorting books at the Columbia hub in support of the work for the library system. Interested individuals should apply to learn more.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide delivery service Monday through Thursday.

- Provide reliable vehicle and back up Driver

- Pick up and deliver packages to specified locations promptly.

- Ensure all deliveries are made in a safe and professional manner.

- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers.

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer signatures.

- Handle packages with care and follow all company procedures.

Qualifications:

- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

- Must be 21 years of age.

- Liability Insurance Coverage of $100,000/$300,000/$100,000

- Own a reliable vehicle and have access to a back-up vehicle.

- Excellent time management and organizational skills.

- Professional representation, strong communication and customer service skills.

- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.

- STAT Courier performs a motor vehicle records check and a criminal background check as part of the application process.
