A reputable logistics company is seeking reliable and motivated Independent Couriers to join our dynamic delivery network. As an independent courier, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of items to various locations. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to be your own boss while earning competitive pay.
You will be transporting medical specimens around Jefferson City. The route runs Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:30am and 5:00pm. This route does run on holidays, so the driver is expected to run or have an available back-up driver to run the route. The driver is expected to be available to take assigned on-demand jobs that will increase their income. A fuel-efficient sedan/SUV is preferred.
Requirements
- Provide delivery service Monday through Thursday.
- Provide reliable vehicle and back up Driver.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Pick up and deliver packages to specified locations promptly.
- Ensure all deliveries are made in a safe and professional manner.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer signatures.
- Handle packages with care and follow all company procedures.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Liability Insurance Coverage of $100,000/$300,000/$100,000
- Own a reliable vehicle and have access to a back-up vehicle.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Professional representation, strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- STAT Courier performs a motor vehicle records check and a criminal background check as part of the application process.
