A reputable logistics company is seeking reliable and motivated Independent Couriers to join our dynamic delivery network. As an independent courier, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of items to various locations. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to be your own boss while earning competitive pay.
This route does scheduled deliveries in various cities across Southern Illinois including Mount Vernon and Centralia. The route is run in two parts. The first leg starts at 8:00am and ends at 1:30pm; the second leg starts at 6:00pm and ends around 8:30pm. The driver will also be assigned on-demand work that will provide the driver an opportunity to increase their income. The scheduled work pays approximately $187 per day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide delivery service Monday through Friday
- Provide reliable vehicle and back up Driver
- Pick up and deliver packages to specified locations promptly.
- Ensure all deliveries are made in a safe and professional manner.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer signatures.
- Handle packages with care and follow all company procedures.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Liability Insurance Coverage of $100,000/$300,000/$100,000
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Professional representation, strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- STAT Courier performs a motor vehicle records check and a criminal background check as part of the application process.
