What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Warehouse Sorter position at Stat Courier?
A reputable logistics company is seeking reliable and motivated individual to join our dynamic delivery network. This role supports the Interlibrary loan program in Georgia. This is a part-time position at our warehouse in Norcross, GA. The Sorter will distribute materials in sealed bags and containers for delivery. The current hours for the position are 10:00am-3:00pm but are subject to change based on need.

Primary Functions
· Receive material brought into warehouse by delivery driver
· Accurately read codes to locate products within the warehouse to properly pick
· Sort and organize materials into designated areas by codes
· Perform tasks at an efficient pace to meet per hour weekly production standards
· Properly pack all prepared materials for pick-up and delivery.
Requirements:
· Must have reliable transportation to and from work
· Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
· Must be able to stand for long periods of time
· Strong manual dexterity and the ability to perform physical tasks, such as bending, lifting, carrying, and pushing.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Must be able to comprehend basic work instructions.
· Ability to handle adverse situations and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
· Maintain a clean professional appearance
· Routinely uses other standard equipment such as a hand truck or a manual pallet jack
· Must be able to move around a warehouse environment
· STAT Courier performs motor vehicle records check and a criminal background check as part of the application process.
