A reputable logistics company is seeking reliable and motivated Independent Couriers to join our dynamic delivery network. As an independent courier, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of items to various locations. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to be your own boss while earning competitive pay.
The Position:
The courier will be transporting medical specimens and supplies to and from medical facilities in and around various parts of Indiana. Candidates must be available to run between 10:30am-7:30pm. The driver can expect to driver approximately 300 miles per day on average. All candidates must be able to pass a criminal background and motor vehicle record checks, as well as a five-panel drug screen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide delivery service Monday through Friday
- Provide reliable vehicle and back up Driver
- Pick up and deliver packages to specified locations promptly.
- Ensure all deliveries are made in a safe and professional manner.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer signatures.
- Handle packages with care and follow all company procedures.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Liability Insurance Coverage of $100,000/$300,000/$100,000
- Own a reliable minivan (or size equivalent) and back up vehicle.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Professional representation, strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
