A reputable logistics company is seeking reliable and motivated Independent Couriers to join our dynamic delivery network. As an independent courier, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of items to various locations. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to be your own boss while earning competitive pay.
This route runs Sunday-Friday. The driver can expect to cover approximately 230 to 240 miles per day. Drivers in West Lafayette, Kokomo and Marion Indiana are encouraged to apply to learn more. Candidates must be able to pass a drug test upon an offer being made.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide delivery service Sunday-Friday
- Provide reliable vehicle and back up Driver
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Pick up and deliver packages to specified locations promptly.
- Ensure all deliveries are made in a safe and professional manner.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer signatures.
- Handle packages with care and follow all company procedures.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Liability Insurance Coverage of $100,000/$300,000/$100,000
- Own a reliable back up vehicle of appropriate size.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Professional representation, strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Our company performs a motor vehicle records check and a criminal background check as part of the application process.
