What are the responsibilities and job description for the Walking/Driving Courier Needed-Oklahoma City 8:00am-5:00pm position at Stat Courier?
A reputable logistics company is seeking reliable and motivated Independent Couriers to join our dynamic delivery network. As an independent courier, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of items to various locations. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to be your own boss while earning competitive pay.
The route has three components. First the Independent Contractor provide walking courier services at the client's facility in Oklahoma City. The driver will then perform driving courier's services in and around Oklahoma City. Lastly the driver is asked to stay available until 5:00pm to assist demand services. On demands will increase the driver's daily pay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Must be able to stand and walk long distances for 4-hour shift.
- Provide delivery service Monday-Friday
- Provide reliable vehicle and back up Driver
- Pick up and deliver packages to specified locations promptly.
- Ensure all deliveries are made in a safe and professional manner.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer signatures.
- Handle packages with care and follow all company procedures.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Liability Insurance Coverage of $100,000/$300,000/$100,000
- Own a reliable sedan/SUV and back up vehicle.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Professional representation, strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Our company performs a motor vehicle records check and a criminal background check as part of the application process.
