Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Equipment Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery, setup, and maintenance of medical equipment in various healthcare settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and have experience with warehouse operations and route driving. This position requires heavy lifting and the ability to operate various types of equipment.
Duties
- Deliver and set up medical equipment at patient locations, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical equipment as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and box trucks to transport equipment safely.
- Load and unload medical equipment from vehicles while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, equipment status, and inventory levels.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to equipment use.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely delivery of necessary equipment.
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding safety, compliance, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or courier services is preferred.
- Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle is a plus.
- Familiarity with route driving and logistics management.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience with heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) is required.
- Knowledge of medical equipment is an advantage but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
