Position Overview
We are seeking a driven and motivated B2B Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales, with a proven track record in both startup environments and large organisations.
You will be joining as an early member of the sales team and be given the responsibility to have sales coverage on the portion of the country. In addition, you will play a critical role in expanding our customer base and footprint across SMBs and mid-sized companies nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential clients within target markets, focusing on SMBs and mid-sized companies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and position our platform as a solution.
- Conduct presentations and demonstrations of the State Affairs platform to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment in messaging and customer outreach.
- Achieve and exceed quarterly sales targets
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to effectively position State Affairs in the market.
- Provide feedback to management on customer needs, market trends, and product enhancements.
Qualifications
- Required
- Minimum of 3-10 years of B2B sales experience, with a focus on SMBs and mid-sized companies.
- Experience in a startup environment
- Experience from a large enterprise sales organisation
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

- Familiarity with government policy or political landscapes is a plus, but not required
- Familiarity with Hubspot, and the latest sales-focused software tools
