Job Description:
Supports the lending function of State Bank. Analyzes credit data to estimate the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money to individuals or businesses and supports credit lending decisions by analyzing customer's financial condition and ability to pay.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Relationship Management Support:
Gathers and analyzes loan applicants’ financial data to evaluate risk.
Assesses creditworthiness of individuals, companies, and institutions.
Undertakes risk analysis using regional, sector-specific, environmental, and other financial data.
Prepares Loan Information Worksheet, debt schedules, and cash flow analyses for new loans, renewals, and loan modifications.
Gauges market trends.
Monitors and adheres to collateral compliance covenants.
Authors documents on credit risk and related financial matters.
Reviews financial and collateral data on existing borrowing relationships, analyzing risk factors for annual portfolio reviews.
Interfaces with Loan Officers professionally and effectively without delay.
Complies with federal and state regulations and all established bank policies and procedures.
Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
2. Internal Communication and Coordination:
Facilitate effective communication between different internal departments, ensuring smooth coordination and resolution of customer-related issues.
Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a cohesive and supportive work environment
3. Compliance And Regulatory Adherence:
Ensure compliance with all applicable banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure adherence to guidelines.
Participate in required training as needed for necessary growth
Qualifications And Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is a plus.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
Proficiency in using office software, such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.
Must be able to work independently and complete assigned projects with minimal supervision.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as rules, government regulations, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
