Job Description:
The Operations Representative will play a critical role in supporting the backroom operations of State Bank. This includes, but is not limited to, Item Processing, Maintenance Review, Retail and Business Online Banking, Debit Cards, Mobile Banking, Mobile Deposits, and Texting Banking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling customer phone calls and inquiries
- SUPPORTING INTERNAL STAFF AND HANDLING CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS EFFECTIVELY
- Handling NSF and Return items, as well as processing non-post items
- Originating ACH files, verifying and approving wire transfers
- Printing and distributing notices/statements, performing GL balancing and entries
- Maintaining debit card records, verifying account maintenance, and proof of identity
- Mobile Deposit enrollments, image verification, and ITM deposit image verification
- Importing Incoming Cash Letters, online banking troubleshooting, and adhering to BSA policies and procedures
- Contacting Operations vendors for support when needed
Requirements:
- A minimum of two years of prior banking experience
- Demonstrated analytical, decision-making, and effective problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using personal computer systems, internet applications, and electronic mail, as well as various windows-based software applications
- Honor State Bank philosophies, policies, and expectations regarding core values, customer service, human resource policies, and code of conduct and ethics
- Demonstrate acceptable personal financial responsibility and be bondable
- High School Diploma or GED
