Seeking experienced event contractors to live stream youth basketball tournaments during February 28-March 2 at the Oregon Middle School Basketball Championship, utilizing our BallerTV equipment.
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated person to join our Stream team. This individual will play a pivotal role in executing the live streaming and production of our tournament, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for viewers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports, an eye for detail and strong technical skills in live event production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Live Event Production: Execute live-streaming of all assigned games, including camera setups/takedowns, audio management, and troubleshooting equipment issues in real-time.
- Technical Setup: Set up BallerTV's streaming system (filming equipment) at each court, including cameras, iPads, and tripods.
- On-Site Coordination: Monitor each game's stream is steady and consistent. Ensure all batteries are charged while in use or charging while idle. Operate and troubleshoot equipment and technology while maintaining communication with State Basketball Championship throughout the tournament.
- Equipment Management: Receive and handle all event equipment, including camera gear and marketing assets.
- Client Relations: Maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the tournament process.
Requirements:
- Must have experience live streaming sports
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must complete a pre-event background check
- Must be familiar with iOS devices and products
- Must be personable and professional throughout the tournament
- Must have the ability to multitask with a strong attention to detail
- Must have availability on weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
- BallerTV equipment operation preferred but not required
Shift:
- Friday 4pm-10pm - includes set-up of all equipment
- Saturday 7am-9pm - stream games all day
- Sunday 7am-5pm - includes take down of all equipment

About Us:
Since 2012, State Basketball Championship has operated the largest qualifier-based youth basketball tournaments nationwide. We qualify teams at local tournaments in various regions of the state, with the end result being all teams coming together for a statewide tournament taking place in March. With events spanning coast to coast, our 2025 lineup boasts 16 championship tournaments, drawing teams from 22 states and over 22,000 players. Our events unfold in premier venues such as the University of Wisconsin, University of Illinois, the University of Missouri, and more! As a Sports Production Event Specialist you’ll have the opportunity to use high quality video technology to stream top youth basketball programs compete for a state title.
