Our GREAT STATE TEAM is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our growing business needs. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist this person would support the recruiting and hiring of employees across all roles within the organization. The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays an integral part in executing creative sourcing strategies, scheduling interviews, managing onboarding, and managing candidates and hiring manager expectations, to ensure a positive candidate experience.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will handle a diverse array of procedures and will need to be able to handle ambiguity and work through resolutions to questions and/or problems. The position involves a high degree of professionalism, organization, attention to detail, project management, and customer service. The Talent Acquisition Specialist frequently interacts with high executives and management and has exposure to sensitive human resources information necessitating the use of tact, diplomacy, discretion, and judgment.

- Provide input to ensure that teams consist of diverse, qualified individuals.
- Ensure that staffing needs are being met with a long-term strategy in mind.
- Devise and implement sourcing strategies, such as employer branding initiatives, to build pipelines for potential applicants.
- Continuously review, update, create, and implement end-to-end hiring processes to ensure a positive experience for candidates.
- Form close relationships with hiring managers to ensure clear expectations for candidates and interviewers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages the full recruiting life cycle for all assigned positions both internally and externally.
- Point of contact throughout the full life cycle for both candidates and hiring managers.
- Leading and developing ongoing strategies to attract, source, and recruit top talent. This includes entry-level, mid-level and experienced leaders.
- Actively building a pipeline of top-quality talent.
- Attracting, sourcing, and hiring candidates using job boards, career websites, digital branding, social recruiting, and mobile recruiting.
- Researching new sourcing strategies.
- Develops, implements, and leads Talent Acquisition programs, strategies, and projects for the organization.
- Develops strong partnerships with internal leaders using a consultative and strategic approach to support hiring efforts and retention.
- Manages applicant tracking system and advertising/vendor relationships related to hiring and makes recommendations for resources needed to recruit top talent.
- Maintains and reports hiring and recruitment metrics to inform and drive strategies.
- Maintains records of all materials used, including interview notes and related paperwork, for recruitment activities, applicant flow, interviews, and new hires and communicates activity to hiring managers.
- Advising and coaching hiring managers and interviewers on hiring practices and candidate selection.
- Develops and continuously recommends position specific interview questions for Hiring Managers.
- Assists the Manager of Talent Acquisition in the planning, scheduling, and leading monthly recruiting meetings with primary stakeholders.
- Researches and provides insight on compensation and competitive wages.
- Prepares salary recommendations for job offers in compliance with organizational guidelines.
- Manages hiring and onboarding compliance to ensure legal compliance with regulatory State and Federal requirements related to employment.
- Knowledgeable in local and federal employment law related to hiring such as Title VII, ADA, FCRA, FLSA, OFCCP, EEOC, etc.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Two or three years of experience in Talent Acquisition preferred.
- Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
- Experience within a call center/service industry environment preferred.
- Proficiency with social media, CV databases, and professional networks
- Experience in using LinkedIn Talent Solutions and really sourcing to proactively source candidates.
- Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong personal Computing skills, including MS-Word, MS-Excel, ADP, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Outlook, Internet, and keyboarding.
- Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
