The State College Area School District is currently accepting applications for the following positions for summer school programming:
- English Language Development Assistant Teachers
The District seeks dynamic, energetic educators who are student-focused and have knowledge of both theory and practice specific to the education of Pre K-8 learners. Organizational and collaborative skills are critical to success in this position. The District is searching for candidates who demonstrate a commitment to professional growth and development and possess various professional experiences.
Champs Camp ELD Assistant Teachers:
- Expected Dates: July 7, 2025 - July 31, 2025, plus pre-planning and training
- Job Duties: Instructing interactive lessons for English Learners; adapting and modifying curricular programs; screening, evaluating, and assessing ELD students.
- Certification: Preferred: ESL K-12; Required: any of the various PA certificates with an emphasis on elementary and middle-grade levels and experiences working with EL learners.
