Looking for a Part Time Veterinary Technician / Skilled Assistant to work in the Heart of Happy Valley.

We are a small animal hospital that sees mainly cats and dogs, with a few pocket pets. Working in a remodeled clinic, our goal is to practice the highest quality of veterinary medicine. We offer soft tissue surgery, dentistry, in house xray & ultrasound as well as idexx blood machines.

We have an opening for a Part Time Technician (experience as a technician or veterinary assistant will be considered) to join our family. We’re seeking candidate(s) that are self motivated, but works great in a team dynamic. Duties would include exam room histories, restrain, venipuncture, client communication. Candidate(s) should have good communication skills, enjoy client education and be comfortable with stress free handling techniques. Our hospital currently has 2 full time veterinarians and 13 support staff. Local emergency clinic handles all cases overnight and when we are closed on the weekends.

Hours would be 2p-7p Monday through Thursday (roughly 20 hours) and 2 weekends a month. Pay based on experience.
