What are the responsibilities and job description for the OFFICE TECHNICIAN (GENERAL) position at State Controller's Office?
- Provide clerical expertise and support in handling the most difficult and complex clerical and administrative tasks within Statewide Disability.
- Audit, sort and log incoming digital mail for reporting purposes in the Statewide Disability Program.
- Process Payroll Irregularity notices for the Disability Program area.
- Log and email notices to the appropriate department or campus.
- Distribute incoming disability documents and memos to appropriate staff.
- Be responsible for ordering abstract pay history reports and retrieve microfiche for out of history disability transactions.
- Work and cross-train on special projects as needed.
- Operate photocopy and microfiche equipment.
- Maintain filing system of personnel/payroll documentation for historical and research purposes.
- Update and maintain weekly workload statistics.
