JOB SUMMARY:
The Project Management Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of strategic and operational projects across the credit union. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while aligning with the organization's goals and regulatory requirements. The Project Management Manager leads a team of project stakeholders, collaborates with cross-functional departments, and leverages industry best practices to enhance project delivery and performance throughout the organization.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and execute the credit union's project portfolio in alignment with organizational goals and strategy.
- Prioritize and allocate resources to projects based on strategic objectives, strategic impact, and business needs.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality results.
- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to internal policies and procedures.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of project stakeholders and support staff.
- Facilitate professional development and training for the project team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
- Serve as the primary liaison between project teams, executives, and other stakeholders.
- Provide regular project updates, including status reports and performance metrics.
- Develop and implement standardized project management methodologies, tools, training, and templates.
- Evaluate project performance to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Oversee project budgets, ensuring cost control and effective resource allocation.
- Collaborate with finance teams to monitor expenditures and financial forecasts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Comprehensive knowledge of project management principles, tools, and methodologies.
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams and foster collaborative environments.
- Must have knowledge of office machines and equipment, be able to type, and have proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Demonstrates excellent patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards staff, members, and the general public.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively multi-task, analyze complex issues, and provide solutions.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to executives and stakeholders.
- Proficient in managing budgets and forecasting project costs, risks, and other factors.
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello) and standard office tools.
- Able to handle confidential material with the utmost sensitivity and tact.
- Excellent organization, self-starter, and the ability to take initiative and meet priorities in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work as a member of an effective team, work with multiple departments and stakeholders, and to work under pressure while maintaining strong collaborative relationships across the organization.
- Understanding of credit union operations, financial regulations, and compliance standards is a plus.
- Those in a leadership role are expected to participate in company meetings, community events, and similar engagements as ambassadors to the organization and its mission. These include voluntary and involuntary events that although ordinarily will be during business hours, does include weekends and evenings as announced.
- Job Related Travel - As required.
Education/Experience:
- Education or experience equivalent to bachelor's degree in business administration or similar, in addition to 7 plus years' of progressively responsible in project management.
- Must have at least 2 or more years of supervisory experience.
- Relevant professional certifications are preferred but not required. This may include but is not limited to:
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- Projects in Controlled Environments (PRINCE2)

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Some standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, bending and lifting.

- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
