Position Overview
The Senior HR business partner (Sr. HRBP) responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management within assigned vertical / business units / geographic regions. The Sr. HRBP serves as a consultant to management and at all levels, inclusive of C level executives, on human resources-related issues. The successful Sr. HRBP will act as an employee champion and change agent. The Sr. HRBP assesses and anticipates HR-related needs. Communicating needs proactively with our HR department and business management, the Sr.HRBP seeks to develop integrated solutions. The Sr. HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit’s financial position, its strategic plans, its culture and its competition.
Responsibilities
1. 25% Participates on committees and special projects. Implements HR operational strategy. Partners with executive-level staff throughout the organization to get input on HR decisions. Develops business strategy with top leaders of the organization. Maintains advanced knowledge of business lines and products / services, as well as the competitive market.
2. 20% Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning. Actively participates in recruitment and selection process and influences hiring decisions for various levels including management roles. Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs. Participates in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs. Follows-up to ensure training objectives are met.
3. 25% Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to executive management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). Works closely with executive management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
4. 20% Conducts regular meetings with respective business units. Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate. Recommends, evaluates and participates in employee development. Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
5. 10% In partnership with Employee Relations Team, manages complex employee relations matters and / or investigations and mediates difficult matters as a neutral party. Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Investigates issues / claims such as working conditions, disciplinary actions, and policy / procedure violations as needed. Provides guidance and recommendations for problem resolution to departmental heads / executives and individual employees. Partners with the legal department as needed / required.

Qualifications
Required Education
Bachelors; Acceptable Fields of Study : HR or Related Field
Required Relevant Experience
5 Years
Required Knowledge, Abilities, Skills
- Minimum 5 years experience as a HR Business Partner or 8 years as a HR Business Partner in lieu of a Bachelors Degree
- Experience working closely with partners at all levels up to and including executive management.
- Experience developing solutions to complex problems, translate data into meaningful and actionable insights, and develop strategy based on those insights.
