Position Overview :
Drives and implements enterprise strategic initiatives. Manages cross departmental and strategic corporate projects that are large and complex with multiple work streams and sub-projects. Utilizes SECU's adopted project management methodology, standards, tools, and techniques. Indirect leader of assigned program / project managers. Has oversight and accountability for all aspects of the program and associated projects through planning, execution, and delivery.
Responsibilities :
- Serve as a trusted advisor and collaborate with program stakeholders and senior management. Partner across business and IT stakeholders to identify resources required for planning, execution, and delivery of the program objectives. Work with stakeholders and task owners to develop and document requirements for each program / project including organizational change management and environmental changes. Prioritize work and coordinate activities / tasks / milestones across multiple workstreams and projects through all phases. Maintain cross organizational project plans and provide escalation to the appropriate teams. Analyze ambiguous scenarios with a high degree of autonomy, develop strategy, gain buy in from senior leadership, and ultimately lead the execution across the enterprise up to and including the C-Suite and CEO when required. Identify and balance all program / project dependencies and ensure there are no roadblocks creating risk to the project. Resolve conflicts between the program / projects and other organizational units and between project team members in a satisfactory manner, including engaging executive management as necessary. Responsible for managing program financials.
- Partner with stakeholders to track all tasks to ensure accurate and timely completion. Foster cross-team collaboration to help team members complete deliverables on time. Responsible for monitoring, mitigating, and escalating as needed, all risks and issues for the program that could impact the committed timeline. Identify and balance all program / project dependencies and ensure there are no roadblocks creating risk to the program or associated projects. Coordinate resources to mitigate project risks and issues related to the program. Provide constant updates on resolution to the broader team. Independently resolve conflicts between the project and other organizational units and between project team members in a satisfactory manner. Engages executive management only as needed.
- Track and communicate overall program status. Manage and provide regular stakeholder and executive level updates (including C-Suite and regulators where appropriate). Ensure timely and adequate communication to enable organizational focus and effectiveness. Ensure program data is kept current and accurate in the enterprise tool to enable proper monitoring and reporting.
- Oversight and guidance to assigned program / project managers. Foster cross team collaboration to help all assigned team members complete tasks successfully and on time period provide mentoring and training as needed.
