Position Overview
Responsible for managing and coordinating software and application releases, by coordinating and tracking the release schedules of a project for the various environments. This will include the coordination of release activities across teams, including App Dev and Quality Assurance; communication of release plans and schedules as needed; and the monitoring of release activities.
Responsibilities
10% Collaborate with the Project Manager and Project Integration Manager to negotiate project timelines.
20% Develop and maintain release schedules for multiple projects across environments, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project timelines and business objectives.
20% Monitor and track progress of release schedules to identify and address potential issues or delays. 20% Conduct release readiness reviews, including working with development teams to understand any impact to enterprise shared resources and to identify and mitigate any risks that may impact the scheduled deployment.
15% Maintain comprehensive documentation related to release processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
15% Participate in CAB meetings to discuss release scope and address any roadblocks.

Qualifications
Required Education : Associates; Acceptable Fields of Study : Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field. Additional three years of experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
Desired Education : Bachelors; Acceptable Fields of Study : Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.

ITIL® v3 and / or ITIL® 4
Experience in coordinating release cycles for applications and software
Experience in the Release Management process
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills

Experience with BMC Remedy
Advanced ITIL certifications
Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM)
Ability to communicate on both a technical and non-technical level
Ability to analyze data, and identify and drive continual service improvement activities.
