JOB GRADE 10: $23.33 thru $29.17 Targeted Hourly Rate

JOB SUMMARY:
The Systems Analyst I supports the company's core systems and member-data environments, and administers data and core applications. This includes but is not limited to the design of data imports and extracts from our core banking system, managing document imaging systems, updating and supporting core and workflow data services, operating core applications, designing and troubleshooting data reports, and upgrading and implementing business systems under supervision.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Works with the Information Systems (I.S.) and business teams to create reports and data extracts to support business development and operations.
- Creates and manages data imports and exports from business applications into the core system.
- Works with the I.S. team to automate data management, create document and process workflows, implement data management systems, and optimize system operation.
- Researches and troubleshoots issues with data imports, extracts, and reports.
- Implements and manages core-related systems and services.
- Serves as a core system and financial systems expert.
- Proactively identifies opportunities to streamline and automate system operation.
- Works with I.S. and business teams to reduce data duplication and add new interfaces and integration between systems.
- Reviews new software updates and releases on key business systems, assisting with update testing and implementing new features.
- Works with business teams to surface new opportunities for improved data storage and management.
- As needed, assists the I.S. team in supporting employee needs and requests.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Skilled in reporting and data visualization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work effectively with a wide range of departments and collaborators in helping the business use data to tell stories, make decisions, and understand impact.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and software through a combination of self-study and on-the-job training.
- Ability to work and collaborate in a small-team setting.
- Job Related Travel - As required.
Education/Experience:
- Education or experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in a computer related field, in addition to progressively responsible experience operating and supporting financial or business systems is required.
- Experience with core banking software is preferred but not required, as on the job training will be provided (e.g., Fiserv, Corelation, etc.).
- Programming skills in SQL, Python, or similar interpreted languages is helpful but not required.

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
