Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The Janitor will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on commercial spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Conduct custodial duties such as dusting, window washing, and trash removal.
• Execute floor care activities including buffing and polishing surfaces.
• Assist with painting projects as needed.
• Support industrial cleaning efforts by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with the facilities maintenance team to ensure all areas are well-kept.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
• Ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness in diverse environments.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
• A proactive attitude towards maintaining facilities and addressing issues promptly.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
