We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Representative to join our team. This role is essential for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating leads, helping our business grow through value-based conversations, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and close sales
Establish client relationships and follow up with clients, as needed
Develop ongoing networking relationships
Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly client support
Engage in cold calling to identify potential clients and generate new business leads.
Utilize upselling techniques to maximize revenue from existing customers
Maintain accurate records of sales activities using Salesforce or similar CRM tools
Collaborate with the sales management team to develop effective sales strategies
Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day
Skills:
Proven experience in territory sales or retail sales is preferred
Strong background in customer service with excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
Effective cold calling techniques with a focus on lead generation
Strong upselling skills with the ability to identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions
Enthusiastic about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams
Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability and ethical behavior
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage clients effectively
Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset, capable of working independently as well as part of a team
Property and Casualty license (current license preferred, must be willing to obtain)
Life and Health license (current license preferred, must be willing to obtain)
