JOB PURPOSE
To work as an employee of a State Farm independent contractor agent assisting the agency team in marketing State Farm products and services through direct sales.
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
o Experience in marketing, sales, and/or telephone customer service desirable.
o Experience with business software desirable.

o Ability to learn and apply product, industry and market knowledge to make professional recommendations to prospects and policyholders and to satisfy insurance licensing requirements.

JOB RELATED TRAINING COURSES, LICENSING AND PROGRAMS:
Successfully complete all company, state and federal requirements (licenses) to market and service designated State Farm products and continue to be licensed in good standing is required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Implement the agency’s marketing plan and direct mail campaigns at direction of the team leader.
o Work from the agent’s office to contact prospects and current policyholders to generate interest in insurance financial review appointments.
o Conduct needs based interviews in the agent’s office supported by technology.
o Meet marketing goals set by team leader and agent.
o Provide prompt, accurate, friendly, cost-effective service and utilize it as a basis for establishing a marketing opportunity.
o As directed by the agent, work with agent’s computer system to update information in customer databases used by team leader
o Perform other related duties as assigned by team leader.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
o Base/bonus/ plus commission. First year expected range 62k-uncapped
