Responsibilities
State Farm’s Enterprise Technology team is seeking an Agile Delivery Lead who possesses strong communication and leadership skills to deliver P&C Shopping solutions for customers and sales associates. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability to address complex problems and rapidly changing requirements. As an Agile Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for facilitating meetings, workshops, and collaborative sessions, ensuring effective communication, and resolving conflicts. Your organizational skills will be essential in prioritizing tasks, managing timelines, coordinating resources, and maintaining project documentation. A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle is necessary to effectively guide and mentor team members. Collaboration skills will be crucial in fostering a collaborative culture and building strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients. A continuous learning mindset is also required to stay updated with industry trends and seek opportunities for learning and improvement. Key Responsibilities:
- Manages and optimizes end-to-end product delivery through the entire lifecycle with cross-functional empowered teams
Tailors team delivery and environment, manages processes and ceremonies, facilitates defining and breaking down the work with leads and the team for increased efficiencies.
- Manages problem resolution, risk, and dependencies blocking the team from achieving desired solutions, and facilitates timely action plans with the product leader and other stakeholders
- Collaborates with the product leaders and product teams to deliver product
- Monitors progress through discovery and delivery metrics to identify potential issues or delays in the completion of work; coordinates cross-platform dependencies; escalates issues
- Utilizes team feedback and metrics (quality, delivery rate, etc.) to identify areas of opportunity and works with team to continuously improve
- Provides visibility and ensures that the delivery team commits to achievable and realistic goals and includes the entire team in the estimation / planning process to obtain diverse perspectives
- Leverages tools to develop and maintain relevant information radiators for tracking, measuring and reporting on metrics such as team maturity, team effectiveness of Agile processes, team throughput/velocity, and portfolio health
- Oversight of production issues; seeks to engage the appropriate people to help resolve issues as urgently as possible
Qualifications
