Starting Salary is $100,500 - $168,000 annually. B ecause work-life-balance is a priority at State Farm, compensation is based on our standard 38:45-hour work week ! This is a hybrid position, so you'll work from home at least 75% of the time, and 25% of the time collaboratively in office. During the job training period you may have a higher percentage of time spent in-office to support your learning experience.

Responsibilities
- Leads team toward desired individual, team, department and company goals
- Participates in weather and catastrophe planning and response
- May be responsible for the coordination and direction of work assignments of external claim resources during periods of heightened activity
- Reviews claim files to provide guidance on quality claim handling
- Serves as a resource for standard claim processes and is responsible for adherence to workflows/processes
- Communicates and implements Company policies, claim procedures, applicable laws, statutes, regulations, and legal requirements
- Demonstrates understanding and serves as a resource for Company policies and external requirements for claims involving litigation
- Leads frequent team meetings using relevant metrics, and spends significant time directly coaching team members
- Responsible for daily application of Company policies and procedures and recommends ways to improve
- Serves as a liaison between Fire Claims and other claim segments
- May participate in annual budgetary process as appropriate
- Participates and/or leads project groups, as requested
- Mentors others, either formally or informally
Qualifications
Claims experience preferred but not required.
