Salary Range: $75,260.25-$128,700

Responsibilities
State Farm Corporate Communications is looking for a Communications Specialist to join our team! Our team is comprised of talented communications specialists committed to helping State Farm employees and agents better serve customers and support company goals through coordinated and compelling communications. Every day our teams create and deliver communications that prepare employees and agents for change and connect agents and our workforce to the State Farm brand and culture. As a Communications Specialist you will:
- Provide communication consulting services to leaders and executives, including but not limited to departments such as Agency and Marketing.
- Collaborate with enterprise partners to develop and execute communication strategies to advance State Farm business and workplace strategies.
- Coordinate the planning, development and delivery of communication materials using human, print and digital channels.
- Bring an outside-in perspective to champion innovation and advocate for modern communication channels and approaches.
- Use data to measure the effectiveness of communications and make recommendations for improvement based on feedback and data analysis.
Qualifications
Highly Desired Skills and Experiences:
- Two or more years in a corporate communication or content creation role (experience communicating with large internal audiences or independent contractor audiences is a plus)
- Demonstrate big picture, abstract and strategic thinking with a focus on detail-oriented work approaches to meet business partners consultation and communication needs using a variety of solutions.
- Experience writing and designing communications that convey complex information in simple, engaging ways (including through visual communication) across multiple channels.
- Curiosity and initiative to understand the needs of our business partners and identify ways to help through communication solutions.
- Comfortable managing multiple assignments and self-directing daily priorities and tasks.
- Experience working successfully on both collaborative and autonomous assignments, while delivering with quality and timeliness.
Recommended Skills and Experiences:
- Quickly build trust and rapport with individuals, regardless of job level, and serve as a consultant and advisor on communication strategies and tactics.
- Recent experience leading and/or co-leading development of communication plans and tactics and/or change management plans to support the launch of a change, program, or initiatives.
- Change management experience a plus, but not required.
