As a Social Media Creative Strategist, you will play a vital role within our Marketing department. You will be part of a team that is responsible for leading the development and execution of social content for Campaigns, Always-on and State Farm Independent Contractor Agents. You will also have responsibility for editorial review and publishing of all social media content across State Farm’s social media accounts.

Remote: Qualified candidates (outside of hub locations listed below) may be considered for 100% remote work arrangements based on where a candidate currently resides or is currently located.
Hybrid: Qualified candidates (in or near hub locations listed below) should plan to spend time working from home and some time working in the office as part of our hybrid work environment.

As a Social Media Creative Strategist, you will play a vital role within our Marketing department. Responsibilities
- Operates as the general leader of all campaign social creative development across all social platforms.
- Works cross-functionally to determine campaigns’ creative social media needs.
- Deeply involved in all aspects of assignment and creative briefing process, ensuring all campaigns’ briefs are clear, actionable, and aligned to Marketing’s strategic objectives.
- Leads the social media creative review process by:
- Providing creative feedback and guidance to all internal and external creative partners, keeping the work on strategy and creatively inspired.
- Ensuring appropriate State Farm audiences review materials—briefs, concepts, works in progress, and final deliverables—at the right time.
- Publishes approved content across social platforms.
- Remains current on industry trends and brings forward opportunities for innovation.
- Proactively identifies opportunities for increasing efficiency and consistency within work processes.
- Identifies appropriate stakeholders and works collaboratively to encourage diverse perspectives.
- May require travel via commercial transportation or motor vehicles
- May work irregular hours, including weekends/holidays
- Responsible for the handling and maintenance of confidential and highly sensitive information
- Involvement in company approved educational programs as applicable for continued development
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years Agency and/or client-side experience managing creative development is required.
- Demonstrated history of creative development experience including: briefing, concepting, production, and optimization.
- Demonstrated history of developing comprehensive social media content plans across multiple platforms, accounts and stakeholders.
- Experience collaborating and effectively managing numerous internal and external stakeholder groups related to creative development.
- Experience developing paid social media campaigns and ad management.
- Experience working with talent, including influencers and celebrities.
- Experience in producing completed staff work, including business recommendations, executive summaries, and project documentation.
- Experience developing comprehensive social media content plans across multiple platforms, accounts, and stakeholders.
- Experience working with Social Media tools i.e. Sprout, Opal, Hootsuite.
- Strong ability to influence and build relationships, internally and externally.
- Time management skills with the ability to prioritize & multi-task under shifting deadlines and needs within a fast-paced environment.
- Adept at working in a deadline-driven, high-profile environment.
- Experience working in a matrix environment a plus.
- Experience and/or passion for Sports Marketing a plus.

- Potential starting salary range: $63,976.25 - $121,900
- Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
- High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
