Technology Student Intern
Are you ready to join the industry leader? State Farm is looking for passionate IT students to join our Summer Internship Program! The Enterprise Technology department is involved in exploring new and emerging technologies. This program will offer you hands-on work along with real-world research and development opportunities. State Farm continues to refine and expand the use of technology for employees, agents, and customers. You will have the opportunity to influence change and help us deliver on our mission to protect State Farm and its policyholders. What You Can Expect:
- State Farm has made the decision to offer an exclusively virtual 2021 summer internship program
- Our internship will occur between June 7, 2021 - July 30, 2021
- Hourly pay rate: $12.50
- Selected interns will work 38.75 hours/week
- Work schedule requires the employee to make a commitment to work from the hire date to the end of the summer program without requests for time off
- This internship is intended for applicants from the Dunwoody and local surrounding areas.

Qualifications
We Are Looking For The Following:
• Candidates must be a current or graduating high school student at least 16 years old by the start date of the internship (6/7/2021)
• Candidates with knowledge and experience in Object Oriented programming (Java, C++), mobile development (iOS/Android), web development, or data and/or database (SQL, MySQL, etc.) strongly desired.
• Candidates pursuing a technical path focused on software development, data analytics, infrastructure development, or user experience
• Drive and initiative to lead and affect positive change
• Ability to thrive in a team environment
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written
• A can-do attitude, and someone who loves to have a bit of fun
• Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately; employer will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work authorization (e.g. H-1B visa) for this opportunity
