Responsibilities
The IT Asset Management Tools and Technologies team within IEOM's ITAM product suite is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join the team. We work in a heavily collaborative environment where we work tirelessly to advocate for our stakeholders and their requirements of the tools we support. We are a tight knit team where we foster an environment of open and honest feedback. We have a relentless focus on delivering an integrated, highly automated Enterprise IT Asset inventory that empowers our customers to optimize costs, mitigate risk, and enable compliance.
As a Lead Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that enhance the IT Asset Management capabilities on the ServiceNow platform. You will lead a team of talented engineers, fostering a collaborative environment while ensuring high-quality code and best practices. Your expertise in JavaScript, Service Now and automated testing frameworks will be critical in driving our development efforts and ensuring seamless integration across systems.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of software solutions using JavaScript and ServiceNow.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX / UI designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Mentor and guide team members in best coding practices, code reviews, and development methodologies.
- Develop and maintain automated tests using the Jasmine Framework to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications and services.
- Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to implement innovative solutions and improve existing processes.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions to enhance the overall system architecture.
