Responsibilities
State Farm In-House Insurance Staff Counsel is seeking a Paralegal to join the Claims Litigation team. The selected candidates will sit in Tempe, AZ or Bloomington, IL. Responsibilities will include preparing medical chronologies and billing summaries and reviewing medical records and bills. The most qualified candidates will have the ability to work independently, prioritize workload, multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and communicate effectively. The selected individual will be considered a hybrid employee, spending some time working in either the Tempe, AZ or Bloomington, IL office with some optional opportunities to work in a virtual environment at times. Work arrangements could change over time based on business needs.

Qualifications
- Prior experience in injury claims, litigation, or paralegal tasks preferred. Experience working as a nurse is also appropriate experience. Paralegal certificate is preferred but not required.
- Background in reviewing medical records and preparing medical chronologies or analyzing medical records is preferred.
- Strong written communication skills
- Experience using Evermap and/or Adobe Bookmarking is preferred.
