Responsibilities
Enterprise Business Services - Operational Excellence is hiring three Process Engineers to lead and drive process improvement through supported business areas. The role will oversee reviews, redesign, and implementation of identified opportunities. Scope of work will include P&C Underwriting, Billing, and contact centers under the Enterprise Care Center (ECC)
- Completing assignments supporting large, cross-segment and / or cross-departmental process improvement initiatives that require foundational technical / functional skills and expertise.
- Developing a deep understanding of operational structure, work segmentation, detailed workflows, and processes related to project assignments.
- Applying in-depth knowledge of process improvement methodologies and operating principles to drive business results.
- Developing standardized processes.
- Gathering, classifying, and analyzing data relevant to projects, processes, and operational metrics.
- Communicating results of research and analysis for complex business issues.
- Utilizing appropriate methods and tools to perform foundational data collection and analysis.
Work Locations : Bloomington, IL-Corporate, Dunwoody, GA-ParkCenter Hub, Richardson, TX-CityLine Hub or Tempe, AZ-Marina Heights Hub locations.
Hybrid Work arrangement : A "Hybrid" position means selected candidates will be assigned to a facility and will spend some time working both in office and from their home.
Incumbency : This position will have a 12-month incumbency period for a lateral move and a 6-month incumbency period for a promotional opportunity (beginning on the effective date of the position) which must be met before the employee can post for any other State Farm position. The incumbency period does not affect the at-will relationship between State Farm and the employee and does not create an employment contract, nor contractual rights.
