As a member of the State Farm Payment Plan (SFPP) team you will help support our customers manage their billing and payment options with State Farm. Our SFPP Account Reps are committed to solving customer’s needs on first contact through simple, high-quality and personalized experiences for every customer. The SFPP Account Representative role includes answering incoming service questions. SFPP provides payment options for all customer segments and enables customers to choose how they want to pay – through an agent’s office, or using current technology. SFPP also performs account maintenance on all State Farm Payment Plans Accounts, as well as stays up to date on all policies and procedures.

· Knows where to find answers to a variety of billing and payment related questions while helping the customer understand what will happen next
· Handles multiple computer applications while helping customers on the phone while maintaining quality records in a fast-paced collaborative environment

Additional Details:
- Works with some assistance under general supervision
- Demonstrates a basic working knowledge of divisional processes, applicable system applications and screens, all SFPP functions including, but not limited to billing and payment queues, system generated reviews, agency requests, pattern letters, policy types, standards and codes used by each division, associated policy, work screens and different processing for each line of business.
- Serves as a liaison between agency force, policyholders and divisions to resolve account problems
- Demonstrates an understanding of how state and local laws impact the billing processes
- Coordinates workflow within the department
- Maintains department calendars, work schedules, and performs other administrative duties
- Work on in-office and virtual committees regarding SFPP policies, procedures or events
- May be required to work additional hours, overtime hours, or non-standard hours, including varying work shifts, nights, weekends and holidays, based on workload and as the operation dictates
- May be required to travel, overnight, via commercial transportation and/or by driving motor vehicle, for visits to agent's offices, agency training and/or to attend meetings in other State Farm facilities
- There is the potential for additional training in SF Billing at a later time.
What You Can Expect
Anticipated start date is 2/8/2021.
Hours of Operation: SFPP supports our customers from 7:45 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time Monday through Friday. Our team members work in a shift environment and schedules may change based on business need. Open availability during hours of operation are required for consideration.
Pay: Starts at $17.75/hour. Merit reviews are conducted annually and may include performance-based pay increases as well as a bonus based on company results.
Training: Selected candidates will participate in mandatory training that is paid at the same hourly rate as after training! Training is expected to be Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m., however are subject to change. Training schedules may vary based on shift and role. The training continues beyond day one as well. Team members are eligible to compete for internal opportunities after 24 months of service.

Incumbency Period: All employees hired into SFPP position will have a 24-month incumbency period (beginning on the effective date of hire) which must be met before the employee can post for any other State Farm position. Exceptions to the incumbency period may be considered for promotional opportunities and will be considered on an individual basis, consistent with business needs and management approval.
