Cafe Manager

State Gate Cafe in Bremerton, WA, is seeking an experienced and motivated Manager to join our dedicated team of six. We are located at 102 State Avenue, Bremerton, WA .

Benefits:

• Full-time position
• $17/hour tips ($21-$25/hour total)

Monday to Friday, 5 AM – 1 PM (weekends and holidays off)

• 1 hour of paid time off for every 40 hours worked

Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure a welcoming atmosphere
• Prepare and serve coffee, sandwiches, and salads
• Oversee food safety by checking product expiration dates
• Communicate regularly with the owner about café operations and any concerns

Manage and support team members , assisting with scheduling in coordination with the owner

• Maintain inventory by providing a product restock list twice a week

Qualifications:
*
2 years of experience in sales and customer service

*
2 years of experience in food and coffee service

*
1 years of management experience

• Kitsap Food Card required

*
Washington State Food Manager Certificate (preferred)

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree is a plus
