The Entry-Level Financial Analyst will support financial planning, reporting, and analysis to assist business decision-making. This role is ideal for a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual who is eager to develop their financial expertise. The analyst will assist in financial reporting, budgeting, variance analysis, and data visualization while gaining exposure to key business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and analyzing financial reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Monitor budget vs. actual performance, identifying trends and key drivers.
- Help develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess financial and operational health.
- Assist in the quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting processes.
- Collaborate with senior analysts and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that drive business decisions.
- Conduct basic financial modeling and scenario analysis under guidance from senior team members.
- Support ad hoc reporting and data requests from management.
- Assist in process improvement initiatives, including automation and reporting enhancements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or accounting (internships included).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Basic understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and basic financial modeling.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and take initiative on projects.
