Position Responsibilities
- Infrastructure & Security Administration:
- Maintain and support Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, O365, and Windows Server environments.
- Administer security solutions, including MDM, MFA, antivirus/EDR, web and spam filtering, and SIEM tools.
- Manage patch deployment and system backups to ensure optimal security and stability.
- End-User Support & Troubleshooting:
- Provide responsive Tier 2/3 support for hardware, software, and infrastructure-related issues (on-site and remote).
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing long-term solutions.
- Assist with automated desktop deployment processes and imaging for streamlined device management.
- Networking & Cloud Technologies:
- Support and troubleshoot network infrastructure including Firewalls, Switch, Routers and Wireless Access Points.
- Monitor and optimize SD-WAN performance (experience in Cisco Meraki or similar technologies is a plus).
- Assist in managing cloud infrastructure, including Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud solutions.
- Process Improvement & Documentation:
- Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and infrastructure documentation.
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements using PowerShell and Power Platform technologies.
- Provide recommendations for system enhancements and security hardening.
- Project Participation:
- Assist in IT projects such as infrastructure upgrades and security initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and optimize existing systems.
- Support business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives.
- Other Duties:
- Travel to corporate facilities as needed.
- Participate in after-hours or weekend support for critical issues and planned maintenance.
- Perform other duties and IT projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of experience supporting IT infrastructure in a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365 administration.
- Proficiency in networking protocols and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, wireless, RADIUS).
- Experience with PowerShell scripting or Power Platform for automation.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 11 and endpoint management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with SD-WAN technologies.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CompTIA Security , or equivalent.
- Familiarity with cloud security and hybrid environments.
- Experience in automated desktop deployment processes.
- Ability to work nonstandard hours for emergency support or scheduled maintenance.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
