In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing financial processes and configurations within SAP's Finance and Controlling (FICO) module. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing financial processes and configurations within SAP's Finance and Controlling (FICO) module. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, end-users, and technical teams to understand business needs, translate them into SAP system requirements, and drive improvements in our financial operations.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Business Process Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand financial requirements and translate them into system specifications within SAP FICO
- Configuration & Customization: Configure SAP FICO modules (Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), Asset Accounting (AA), and others) based on business requirements
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance and streamline financial processes and SAP system functionality for greater efficiency
- Project Management: Participate in the implementation of SAP FICO enhancements, updates, or new projects from requirement gathering to post-implementation support
- Functional Support: Provide day-to-day support for SAP FICO end users by troubleshooting issues, identifying solutions, and ensuring seamless financial transactions within the system
- System Testing & Quality Assurance: Assist in preparing test scripts, conducting unit and integration testing, and ensuring the SAP FICO module functions as intended after configuration changes or updates
- Documentation: Prepare detailed documentation for functional specifications, system configurations, and business process flows
- User Training: Develop and deliver training materials to end users and support knowledge transfer related to SAP FICO functionalities
- Collaboration: Work with other SAP functional teams (e.g., SD, MM, PP, etc.) to ensure seamless integration and data flow across SAP modules
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline. SAP certification in FICO or MBA is a plus
- 5 years of experience in SAP FICO implementation or support roles
- Experience in financial accounting, controlling, and reporting
- Familiarity with SAP FICO configurations, including FI-GL, AR, AP, AA, and CO (Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders)
- Strong knowledge of SAP FICO functionalities and integration with other SAP modules (SD, MM, PP)
- Hands-on experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA platforms
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with multi-country SAP FICO implementations
- Familiarity with SAP FICO-related interfaces with third-party tools (tax, consolidation, expenses, etc.) or legacy systems
- Office365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Project management experience in SAP-related project
