The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), Statewide Aviation, is looking for an Airport Leasing Specialist 1 in Anchorage to help us Keep Alaska Moving!

What you will be doing:
In this position, you will provide the Chief of Leasing and Airport Leasing Specialists support in managing land and leasing matters at selected rural airports, to include drafting a variety of different types of legally binding contracts, writing letters, preparing bid documents, and public notices. This position will also provide a variety of specialized clerical work to include verifying Airport Layout Plans and Land Occupancy drawings, finalizing legal documents and correspondence, managing travel, purchasing and other administrative tasks that keep the office running.

The working environment you can expect:

The position is located at 4111 Aviation Drive adjacent to Lake Hood in Anchorage, Alaska. The office itself holds regular hours, however, there is some flexibility to accommodate those who need to work outside of typical hours to maintain a good work-life balance. The Leasing Chief will coordinate all scheduling with the selected candidate.
