What You Will Be Doing:
As a Community Care Licensing Specialist 1 (CCLS 1), your role will be to oversee a workload of childcare facilities across the State of Alaska. You will conduct on-site inspections and investigations, apply your knowledge of licensing requirements, and maintain effective communication with childcare providers, partner agency members, and the general public. Additionally, you will be responsible for generating and issuing various reports and ensuring that facilities are fully compliant before granting a Child Care License.

This position is located in Anchorage or Fairbanks, depending on the location of the selected candidates. These positions include office and field work and require traveling within the state.
